The Pregnancy - Week 9

This is the 9th week of pregnancy. Your weight would have increased a little in this week. This week you could also have some food cravings. You may have to see your Doctor this week and the Doctor could do one ultrasound on you. You may be able to see and hear the beating of your baby’s heart for the first time. This could be a happy moment for you and could be

probably one of the most thrilling parts of the pregnancy - hearing your baby’s heartbeat. Baby is growing fast and is now called the embryo. You may be feeling a little tired, this is because the body of the mother has to work very hard, for nourishing the baby. Because of this the mother’s blood pressure and blood sugar may fall sometimes. You could also feel very gassy. This is because the digestion is slowed down during pregnancy, this is good for the baby as all the nutrients from the mother’s food is absorbed slowly and completely into the mother’s bloodstream and from there to the baby.
