Priya has been trying to get pregnant for the last couple of months. She is hopeful every month that she will miss her period, but is disappointed when she comes to know she did not. What is an ideal time for fertilization to occur?

This depends on the ovulation. Every month the ovary releases an egg approximately 12 to 16 days after the first day of your last menstrual cycle. If the periods are regular, then you can even subtract 15 days from the next expected period day and that would be the time you would be ovulating.
